Spiritual tour in Nepal is really a major spiritual destination of the world where you find numerous numbers of temples with various gods and goddess residing. Many holy scripts describe Nepal as the land of God and Goddesses. This is the same country where Lord Buddha took birth 2500 years back. For thousands of years this land has been using by many saints and monks for their spiritual practices.

Arrival in Kathmandu

We will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport upon your arrival and transfer you to the hotel for the overnight stay. Our representative would be at airport to receive you please look for the placed card having your name.

Morning Hinduism and Buddhism tour of Kathmandu.

Today we learn about the two main religions of Nepal: Hinduism and Buddhism in the morning. We visit the two most important heritage sites of Kathmandu, the Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath stupa, which is a scared place for Hindus and Buddhist devotes. Boudhanath is incredibly beautiful and exciting place for local families who come to visit the biggest Buddhist stupa in the world. During daytime we visit Kathmandu Durbar Square which is rich for in cultural and ancients artifacts. We also get to see Living Goddess “Kumari” at Kumari Ghar. In late evening we watch the sunset at Swayambhunath as it is located on a small hillock it gives us wonderful views of our first Nepali sunset over the Kathmandu Valley. Moreover Swyambhnath temple is a holy place adorned with prayer flags and painted gold it is beautiful and peaceful.

Hike to Namo Buddha, Panauti and explore Dhulikhel

Today we move to Namo Buddha for cultural learning of Buddhist people. We navigated through villages such as Banepa and Panauti before stepping at the serene Buddhist monastery “Namobuddha”; one of the sacred and important destinations for Buddhists. We then move to Dhulikhel as to witness the glorious views of the entire valley and mountains.

Drive to Patan Durbar Square then leave for Pharping and Asura cave for medication.

We move to Patan in early morning to visit Patan Durbar Square. We can observe a wondrous display of Newari architecture and one of Nepal’s most visually impressive public spaces. Moreover we visit ancient temples, museum, spot magnificent artwork, watch pilgrims lay offerings at shrines and be part of colorful festival. We drive from Kathmandu to Pharping, where Chovar and Taudaha are famous attractions before we reach Asura Cave. We mediate for half an hour (mimimum) meditation inside Asura Cave to feel the energy of the place. A quick trip to famous hindu temple Dakshin kali is our option too.

Drive to Pokhara and half day Pokhara sightseeing

Today, after breakfast, we drive to Pokhara, following the Trishuli River. Pokhara is one of the cleanest and the most beautiful cities of Nepal. Also known as the city of Lakes, Pokhara offers the spectacular view of mountains, namely Annapurna, Mannchapuchhre, Manalsu, and Dhaulagiri. The places that we visit in Pokhara today are David falls and Mahendra cave.

Explore Pokhara : World Peace Pagoda, Malepatan Gumba, Hyangja Tibetan Refugee Camp

We visit some Buddhist landmarks in Pokhara and also enjoy the nature's loftiness. Then we explore massive Buddhist stupa of World Peace Pagoda on a narrow ridge high cross the Phewa Lake. Besides being a cultural monument, the site is also famous for the panoramic view it offers of the Pokhara Valley. Then we will visit the Malepatan Gomba or monastery at Malepatan. Then we make another hike to Hyangja, the site for Tibetan refugee camp who fled Tibet after the Cultural Revolution in China. You may try the Tibetan variety of foods, bargain for curios, and at the same time acquaint yourself with the Tibetan culture.

Drive to Lumbini.

After breakfast, we drive for around 6-7 hours to Lumbini to start the exclusive Lumbini pilgrimage tours or we may take flight to reach there in 45 minutes. Once we reached Lumbini, we will visit World Peace Pagoda and Lumbini Crane Santury.

Full day Buddhist Pilgrimage tour including Birth Place of Lord Buddha.

After early breakfast in the morning, we drive to Tilaurakot enjoying the scenic beauty of the flat land and visit the adjoining other historical ruins shrines like, Kudan, Gotihawa and Niglihawa. In the afternoon, visit Scared Lumbini garden and museum as a part of exclusive Lumbini cultural pilgrimage tour. You can walk around the garden or find a peaceful meditative spot to contemplate too.

Return to Kathmandu.

We return to Kathmandu after our spectacular journey of lumbini ‘Birthplace of Buddha’.We can spend a in Kathmandu either in leisure we catch up with some last minute shopping. We can visit the streets of thamel and visit Garden of Dreams as well.

Drive to Budanilkantha Temple and Kopan Monastery for whole day.

After breakfast we move to Budanilkanth temple which is regarded as Hinduism shrine. Budhanilkantha Temple is situated below the Shivapuri Hill at the northern end of the kathmandu valley and can be identified by a large reclining statue of Lord Vishnu. Then we move to Kapan to learn cultures of Buddhist devotes as it is especially famous for teaching Buddhism to visiting Western foreigners.

Final departure

Our trip to Nepal ends today. We will be dropped off at the airport by a company representative 3 hours before the scheduled flight.
